Default Pic Inside. H-pipe not fitting, hitting this portion of aod tranny. help identify

Installing a o/r h pipe and the flange that connects to the driver side header, is hitting the corner of the tranny. not sure what the problem is, has never happened to me before. I have cirlced the area it is hitting. There is no bolt or anything in the hole pictured either, not sure if theres supposed to be something attached. Take a look

It may be a bracket hole for a different model car such as a Crown Vic or Mark VII.

You should be able to remove it with a band saw or saws-all to get it out of your way.
