Default Power Steering Help....

So I've had the car (1990 Coupe) for a few years now. She puts down quite a bit more power than stock (high 400's). The OEM power steering unit works fine & has no leaks, but with the extra power I find the steering very unstable when she pulls hard.

Basically, the power steering is fine for a stock or near stock car power level. However, with my car it just feels outright un-safe!!! I do not wan to go to a manual rack as I do have full size front tires. Is there a "middle" option?? In other words, some thing stiffer that the stock loose PS, but not a manual rack??

Thanks in advance for the help!!!

Manual isn't as tough as you think. It responds just the same as you'd expect it to, except its hard when parking.

I'm actually leaning that way....I did see a "performance kit" that is sold by maximum motorsports but it's currently NOT available. It also looks pricey.

Is there a BIG difference between the Flaming River Regular manual rack & their quick ratio rack? Is it worth the difference in price??
