Bell Housing/Clutch Fork Questions

Bell Housing/Clutch Fork Questions
I am putting an 89 5.0/T-5 in my wife's 66 Mustang. I have the engine and transmission, and just picked up the bell housing last weekend, but it doesn't have the clutch fork. Can anyone tell me what years/vehicles I can get a fork from? Are trucks the same? I plan to use a stock 80s clutch cable.
Second, I know that a lot of the Fords used a plate between the bell housing and the block (behind the flywheel). I presume this bell housing is supposed to have one? Again, what years/vehicles would fit? What happens if I run without it?
Thanks in advance,

clutch fork/block plate
Use a new clutch fork...they are available from any auto parts store. Tell them you want one for a 1989 Mustang with a 5.0.....cost about $30
Second, yes, you need to also use an engine block plate.
Search the major mustang vendors (NPD, CJ's, etc). Again, you want one for a '89 5.0/T5........
