Default 1990 Speedo Cable to cluster, tips?

Hey guys,
i just re-set my tach needle and im trying to get the gal darn speedo cable into the rear of the gauge cluster, from what im finding its a pain.....
any tips or trics? it makes a zig-zag right after the firewall and isint much room to shimmy my hands into......please help if possible!!

I always pull the cluster out a little to put it on

Thanks all!!!! I found out a lil trick myself. Since im long and lanky; i just reached around (thats what she said) underneth the dash after taking off the panel and snapped it into place. it was actually a snap, pun intended, to put in after the cluster was installed.
