Default 94 GT Charging problems

So the 94 money pit/super special hooker edition gt is giving me issues with my electrical system, my batteries have been dying on me after a few hours of driving. I pulled the alternator and had it checked at a couple of different places (just to make sure one of them didn't **** up the test) and it tests fine. I don't have a big stereo or anything that should be drawing any major power so I'm thinking there is a short somewhere as the battery is only around 6 months old

How do I check the voltage going to the battery at idle? (and what should it be) The idiot guage on my cluster usually indicates 1/2 to 1/4 so it's not telling me alot. Does anyone have any other suggestions of what can be causing this? If you don't have any suggestions, feel free to post pictures of hot women/your wife/your gf/your hot sister/your hot mom/your hot cousin/your hot daughter

Thanks in advance

There are no completly loose wires, but they could be shorting somewhere. I replaced the engine a couple of years ago and I'm a pretty ****ty mechanic

I have underdrives, but I didn't bother doing the pully on the alternator. What should the voltage be coming out of alternator/going to the battery? I've never checked it before
