1986 5.0 dies when ac is on and wont start back up after warmed up
my mustang runs and drives fine when cold
when I turn the ac on it starts to sputter and die
I was waiting for a friend today so I turned the car off, when he got there I tried to start it and it wouldn't happen, I popped the hood to let it air out and tried to start it and this timed I fired up the car and took off
this is what ive done so far
new fuel pump
new distributor
new plugs
new oil/ full tune up
new fuel filter
could some one help????

It died about 5-10 minutes after driving it, I pulled off the freeway and turned the air off then it was fine.. Later I met a friend and I left the car off for about 15 minutes then tried to start it, it wouldn't start then I opened the hood for it to cool off then it started up about 2 min later

Well, the failure you're describing is almost certainly an ignition related failure due to heat. What's weird is you've replaced the distributor and that didn't fix it. Did the new distributor come with the module on the front, or did you have to use your old one? All 3 main ignition components can fail from heat, and resume normal operation when they cool a bit. TFI/PIP (both replaced with distributor) and coil.
