Fuel pump is better than something worse I suppose. We all have those "what the heck was I thinking" moments. Hopefully that'll be the fix.

yeah I hear ya...It isnt so bad because I was planning on buying all the parts anyway. I just wanted to buy other things first but oh well. Money comes and goes lol

turns out it was the pick up in the distributor

Yea bro when you push the button on the fuel pressure gauge is will go to zero because that is a bleeder valve to relies pressure and bleed air out.

Yeah I realized that after I posted the reply. I was like wait a sec it should go to zero because you are releasing the pressure. I had the distributor in the car so I just put it in, adjusted timing and now the car is great lol
