Default Cowl Fiberglass Hood Screen?

Hey guys, I just got a fiberglass cowl hood for my fox. It's about 3 inches tall, and you could stick your hand through it and touch the throttle body if you wanted to. I'm kind of nervous about that, so do you guys know of any aftermarket screen kits for those hoods, or do I need to manufacture something on my own? I do not know who made the hood, I got it off a guy from craigslist. Thanks in advance for any advice!

make the stuff yourself. pick up some screen, like chicken fence stuff. has small holes. from your local hardware store

I recently made a grille screen for another car using rain gutter screen from the hardware store. The paint didn't want to stick too well, so prime well or perhaps plasticoat(?)

Ok, sounds good. I"ll just manufacture something. Any precautions I should use before drilling the fiberglass?

I would use perforated stainless steel and epoxy it in. shouldn't be hard to cut the perf with tin snips in a way that would make for a nice clean install. I woudnt drill into the glass.

I'd just use fiberglass resin and sort of glue it to the inside of the hood.
I'd get some of that gutter screen stuff thats aluminum as it will be much easier to cut and form to whatever shape you need.....
