Fuel tank venting issue...
Hey there, Yes I searched.
I DID drop the tank to install a new 255lph fuel pump, and when finished, I DID get major hissing from gas cap when removing. I DID proceed to check if vent line was crushed, It seemed like it was, I DID "uncrush" it. Problem still exists. Line goes to front of car WITHOUT charcoal canister(its all been removed). There is no blockage in front.
So I guess my problem is, why am I still getting excessive pressure in my tank with no blocked venting?
In my search, either problem was solved with crushes vent line, or the thread was never finished as to what the problem was. For now Im leaving the cap slightly unscrewed to keep form exploding the damned gas tank. Might just get a vented gas cap and call a day. Ive had it with this...
Any suggestions?
Thanks..
