Default Dyno tune with diablo???

Anyone have any experiences or input on having a car tuned with diablo tunes. Im not sure if this is the same type as predator tunes for diesel trucks or not. Found a dyno here close and thats what he uses, open for opinions.

Great. How far out was your car when you had it tuned? (Air fuel) We checked mine on a wide band yesterday and it was almost 40:1 at idle and got better as it revved. Boosted the crap out of the fuel pressure to compensate till we can get in and tuned. Got it down to the low 20's:1 at idle. I wouldnt think it would be that lean from a bunch of bolt ons...

I don't recall what it was at idle never asked about it either. We had issues with a weak pump and had to let off at 4800-5000 because it was too lean even after increasing injector pulse, put in a new 255 pump and was off the charts rich due to previous tuning. Ended up at around 13.5:1.

either your wideband is fubar or you have a serious problem in the fuel system...........40:1 and the motor would melt down from being so lean, heck, I have all the bolt ons you can think of on my 89 vert, stock ecm and no tune yet and a t-trim race pullied at 13 psi and it holds afr 14-15:1 at idle, so better check your wideband, sensor could be fubar!!

Widebands are known to lose cal after a few months and might need a new sensor after a year or two.

Yea the tuner said heck if this is right this thing should be running. Even after we cranked up the fuel pressure it only got down in the 20's. The car is going to him tonight and hes going to be looking for a vac leak a little more in depth than we did the other night.

Update: got the car back from the tuner yesterday. He stuck it on the dyno after setting up the computer and its best pass made 255hp and 321tq. I was a little dis satisfied with the hp but he also said that its a loaded dyno and if it was on a dynojet it would show numbers 20% higher which would be 306hp and 385tq. The tq seems a little on the high side to me and hp seems about right for a dynojet what do you guys think?
