Default Moisture/wetness between intake manifolds?

While disassembling the top end of my engine I noticed some moisture on the gaskets between the upper and lower intake manifold. I have a spacer and gaskets between them currently.. the moisture appeared closer the the center holes, when I installed I try to tighten from the middle out. Is the a sealer (rtv?) or different gasket that would work better or with what I currently have?

Did you wash your engine down recently? I cant see any way moisture would get there unless you sprayed the engine down and it seeped down along the long upper intake bolts.

Maybe a little rtv on the heads of the bolts before torque em down.

Good point Duncan. Every time Ive pulled my upper there was a little oil on the gasket from the pcv most likely.

Yeah pcv is what I was getting at. Its not going to hurt anything as long as the gasket isnt 3 kinds of screwed up. I highly doubt it is coolant if thats what you meant by moisture

Doesn't seem like coolant, could be oil but seems thin for that.. I'll take a pic of gaskets so you can see the general area of it

If its oil it does seem thin becasues its oil vapor that collects over time.

I would bet its viscous when you rub it between your fingers kinda oily feeling.
