89 5. ho maf , new maf,tps,egr,iac,plugs,wires,therm gasket rad,3 dist,intake,and gasket new vaccum lines ,coil ,fuel pressure 40lbs new reg rail and injectors{ all stock replacement parts, checked timing 9 times with light with spout out and in,14 out 27 in,runs like i lost 1/2 the cylinders,dist is dead on tried 3 of them, to no avail, its getting 6 foot closer to the river every day please help ,

also forgot the compression test 120 all cyl, also popping intermittingly intake

Did you buy the car that way or did this just start... Stock cam? I had a non ho cam put in my 95 and messed up the firing order once.

got it, it was running,progressivlly got worse until present condition,everything i have done has not improved my problem,

dove it about 75 miles until one day it just like went into 4 cyl mode,then it would not hold an idle below 1200

also checked both firing orders ho windser works , still crappy lol i needed the humor moment

I have a car doing this! I am so tired of dealing with it that its now sitting gathering dust until I can take it to a local hot rod shop. I have had it to a couple local mechanics just run of the mill shops and they couldn't figure it out... one told me my computer may be bad but since it was throwing no codes he was unsure. While your issue may not be the same as mine if you find a answer to your problem please share, thanks and good luck!

had the computor tested , fail, getting another a9p tomarrow , hope i checked all my wires good, lol. thanks guys for all the info so far,backed down the base to 13 deg,gapped plugs at 48, new wires module,120lbs comhope this ecu cures it, again i will update with the ecu swap outp,

changed ecu now new codes are 22 32 egr and baro sensor runs the same ugg
