new to tuning, questions
For my 94 gt, im looking at a few different tuners. Im changing the motor to cobra specs with a slightly larger cam, I know I could simply buy a cobra ecu or a "calibrated" maf... but wheres the fun in that? So im looking for suggestions.... what I've found so far is....
1) Moates QH - doesnt seem to be a ton of support, seems hit or miss, does datalogging
2) SCT eliminator chip - plug and play? I cant adjust computer parameters? must call american muscle back every time I make a change? no data logging? does feature free tunes for life with BAMA tunes.
3) tweecer rt - does datalogging, seems like there is more support, a bit more expensive than the rest.
So MF'ers, whats your recommendation?

I was torn between QH and Tweecer. I have decided to go with the QH, as I have spoken with the owner. There is a lot more support for it than you think. Tweecer isn't as user friendly I dont think. They both do datalogging. QH just seems more straight forward to me. If you run into trouble with it, you can contact Willie at Dirty Dirty Racing. He is known for tuning with the QH and can help you with any issues by looking at your data logs.
You could also try looking at Megasquirt, which is what a 4.6 friend of mine went with

I have Tweecer...
I had issues with the tweecer interface and ended up purchasing the Binary Editor which is a ton more user friendly. (still have tweecer just different BE interface)
I believe this is the rout a lot of self tuners take whether they go with QH or Tweecer.
Also, I do not think that the anderson unit has nearly as many options as the QH or Tweecer.

I have done a lot of reasearch over the past week, I am turned off from the Anderson because of cost mostly, The QH is very attractive because A) Cost, and B) the TunerProRT software is free, and BE is at most $225 more. Essentially you can be tuning and logging realtime for a grand total of $250. I think this is the route I am going to take. Now it looks like I have to join a eectuner forum so I can learn more and borrow bin and def files.
