94 oil pressure sending unit in a fox?
Does anyone know if the 94 oil pressure unit will work on a 93 with the same engine. Cant find one locally but everyone has the 94 unit in stock?
Well, bought it anyways and got it today. the gauge did go up to where it use to be while the engine was running, but couldnt let the car run long enough to tell if it was working properly, due to the fact the water pump, radiator and thermostat are removed at the moment. Will know soon enough if its going to work or not.

Not sure how the fox gauge works but the 94 gauge is just a "dummy" gauge. It just registers oil pressure or no oil pressure. It's not an actual "functioning" gauge as it does not actually fluctuate with the pressure. Just reads no pressure, stays around the middle for the whole range of normal pressure, or jumps to the end for to much.
It's technically only 3 positions, they did the same thing with the miata and a lot of the ford/Mazda sportier cars around that time.
