Default Blower Motor issue

Ive had my 95 gt 5speed for awhile now.. When i first got it the blower motor was working as I was driving home it stopped working, I messed with the switch while driving and it turned back on.. I replced the switch and started working again, then after about a week the fan would turn off then back on randomly.. At this time replaced the blower motor resistor... Now again its doing the same thing. Could it just be a bad resistor again or another problem causing it?

Have you thought about replacing the blower motor?

Likely was the problem all along. That's what they usually do when they start to go bad , slight bump can either make it start or stop.

The resistors usually don't go bad to the point where they wont work at all usually when the resistor goes you loose one or a few of the speeds , generally they will work on high but not low or medium because that is all the resistor does is limit voltage to the motor when low or medium is selected. High bypasses the resistors and lets full 12 volts to the motor.

make sure the harness connector that goes to the switch isn't melted, they had issues with such and I had to replace my connector end due to such, also check for any overheated pins in the connector down at the motor.

Is there a video somewhere about how to replace a 2006 GT fan blower motor? I only find one for a Focus. I have replaced the resistor, fuses (both int and ext), and still this: The speed switch works just fine - it blows on all speeds, the AC and heat work too, the problem is, it only blows out of the defrost vents. Help?
