I pulled the passenger inner fender liner to change that side door check tensioner arm and hanging there is a round ball with what appears to be a vacuum line back to the engine compartment. looks like it goes to a small junction area on the pass. side of the engine. has a blue fastener on that end. i'll post a pic when I finish.
good to know. when I put the liner back in due to it's size, it sits higher w/o pulling on the line. I don't have the t connection in the fender well. it's a straight shot to a 6 or 8 pack connector in the engine compartment.

As stated above that vacuum reserve ball is for the HVAC. It sounds to me that you're talking about a different vacuum reserve canister which is in the same fender but in a different location when you said: it's a straight shot to a 6 or 8 pack connector in the engine compartment.
