Eibach Rear Sway Bar Install Help!
Hey guys, I got an Eibach complete sway bar kit. I installed the front with no problem, but I ran into a snag on the rear. I have the stock sway bar out (simple), but it's saying to use the clips on the end on the new sway bar. Only problem is these do not fit at all! I cannot get them fully on the new say bar even with a hammer, and god forbid I try to get them on the car. Even with a hammer it's not working. I feel like I either need new special end clips, or I'm missing something. Any tips!? Thanks in advance!

have you tried to remove the powder coat from around the holes where the clip slides on?
If it were me I think that's what I would try. Using a sanding wheel on a drill and remove the red every where the clip touches the end. That powder coat can be fairly thick

1st off, the clips do not fit the new beefy sway bar. Then after I bent them to holy hell and got the "on" there is no way to get them up into the lower control arm. The second picture is where they have to go. I'm doing this by myself, and I'm having a lot of trouble getting those in. The bolts that they give you are 3/4 the length of the original bolts, and they come with nuts... I know I'm missing something here. I have no idea what to do with the nuts at all or how to fit the clips on this thing. I was considering just buying new longer bolts and shimming them in.

Im pretty sure you could install them with out the clips and get some longer bolts to go all the way through the control arm and put nuts and lock washers on the other side.
The clips really only eliminate the necessity to use 2 hands to take the bolts out.

One idea I had was to make shims with holes in the middle and get longer bolts. The holes in the control arms do not have thread in them. However, somebody said that that would bind them up too much and then need play, so try to work with them and do what Eibach says. The instructions that came from Eibach are no offence, junk. I will proably try to call them and see what to do also, but you know how customer services reps can be........ "useful."

So I got in touch with Eibach. They said to disregard the instructions, and use the short bolts and nuts that came with the kit. So basically. You just put the sway bar in the control arm, very carefully push the nut up in the middle, and tighten the bolt. So the bolt will not even go through the other end of the sway bar.... Ok. Should work. I'll do it tomorrow and see. So basically, thanks to Eibach's false instructions, I ruined my paint job for absolutely nothing, and wasted 3 hours.
