Thanks guys,

Dawson, that is good to know. I have a good setup then. Just needs some heads lol.

Fullmonte, I think this car has been Canadian its whole life.. It definitely was that seafoam green prior to this yellow (poor spray prep) and the fenders are certainly unique. lol

All three Jetta's pictured in the video are Diesel. The black and red ones at the start on the left, and the silver one down on the right at the start of the video too.

The black one is the big power one. It is making more than double its factory output on a completely stock engine. The silver is my daily commuter, gets me 53mpg all year long. The red one is my younger brothers, the guy videoing. I am the one leaning over the fender of the cougar.

So I am looking at getting some aftermarket assembled cylinder heads.. Should I consider the after market iron stuff? It seems that they are just as good, and cheaper to find.

Don't forget to do some port-matching when you do the head work. I read somewhere in a Performance book on the small blocks that matching the ports to the gaskets on both the heads and manifolds and blending that back about an inch or so is nearly as good as a full port job--and requires far less skill.
