Well since it needs a rebuild, I figure I may as well get a bunch of performance internals to go with the rebuild. Are the bolt ons interchangeable? Like my trickflow and throttle body switch to the 351w? I heard my headers wouldn't fit the 351

Most of the parts will switch over. You will need a new lower intake manifold and exhaust headers since the 351w is physically wider than the 302. But stuff like heads with one modification) and timing covers, motor mounts, throttle bodies. All that stuff swaps over

Ok. Thanks for the help man. So if I end up finding out my oil pressure IS then it's time for a complete rebuild right? I have 1800 or so to spend on my stang anyways, plus I wanted to do all new gaskets and better camshaft. So the rebuild wouldn't bother me much.

I meant is low. I saw that, but thought you would know what I meant. Anyways. I'm unsure of the mileage because one of the previous owners put v6 gauges in it. It reads 130k. According to carfax it has 138k so I'm not really sure.

You are probably right at the threshold for a rebuild. Normally its somewhere between the 150-200k mark where they'll need freshened up, but that all depends on how the car was taken care of. You are right though, without a proper gauge, you'll never know truly what your oil pressure is.

Yeah. I'm having my gauges installed this weekend. I'm not sure how to do it, so my buddy is going to put them in. If I was going to do a rebuilt with a upgraded camshaft and aluminum heads. Should I just go with the 351? Also, will my stock trans hook up to it? I know nothing about swaps

Yep, the T5 bolts right up. Your clutch stays the same. You will need a 28oz flywheel however.

I say do the 351 + boost, as that block will handle A LOT more than a stock 302.
