Oil pressure gauge?
#22
I find that the connection at the oil pressure sending unit is very sensitive to corrosion/bad connection. Since you were right there (oil filter is directly below the sending unit) you may have move the connector slightly and introduced some resistance. Every time my oil pressure starts reading lower than normal (middle of the gauge), I moved the connector around on the threaded mount at the sending unit. Voila! Oil pressure goes back to normal. I have tried WD-40 and bulb grease to help maintain the connection but physically removing and reinstalling the wire does the trick. Fast and easy but watch the exhaust pipe....ask me how I know....!!!
