Default what injectors do i need? maf?

my mods are in my sig

so im thinking i need stock injectors? those are 19#, yes? or should i go with 24#?

also, i think theres a part that needs to be matched with the injectors, the MAF, right? are there better units than stock that i should consider, or just get stock MAF? right now i believe the MAF is a bullet unit. and if i recall, bullet wasnt highly regarded. i dont know what it is rated for, but the injectors were 30# and the AMF went in with them i believe

also, is there a way to check what the current MAF is set for?

lastly, can the MAF be re-calibrated for different rate injectors?

thanks in advance

buy a C&L maf housing it has sample tubes and you can swap those out if you need different injectors.. stock is 19#

as for moving to 24 pound injectors you can and the cheapest way to do it is head to the junkyard the lincoln mark 8 has 24# injectors

something i didnt think was a good idea, but had no real reason to think it:
can i just stick with the 30# injectors that i have now?
whats the downside?

That's what Im running right now is the 30#s. Using stock maf, with a C&L maf housing and 30# sample tube and right around 34psi fuel pressure. I found that the car was running rich at all throttle positions other than WOT, but by indexing the maf housing a 1/4 turn towards the fender it is much better.

wait, youre using the stock maf but with a different sample tube? thats possible? that sounds much better than buying a new maf.

Yea stock maf. The C&L with 30# sample tube just slows the movement of air over the maf meters , this tricks the ecu into thinking less air is flowing in than actually is.

Either way you go even using an after market maf calibrated for larger injectors they are still only tricking the ecu by lowering the out put voltage ratio of the maf meter.
Its not the best way to set it up , but with some fuel pressure tweaking and trying different maf clock positions I seem to have it running really good.

You may have a bit more trouble with the 95 ecu, they are a lot more sensitive to modifications when it comes to air/fuel and timing.

so if i keep my 30# and the allegedly calibrated for 30# maf, worst case i run rich?

i think i asked this before somewhere else, but dont recall the answer:
i have the original 19# injectors. they have been living in the back seat of the car for a long time. at least 10 years. do they 'go bad', or will they work good as new?

lol I wouldn't assume any injector that sat around in the back seat of a car for 10 years would work good as new , likely be stuck and or leaky if you try to just plop em in. They can be cleaned and serviced though.
Keep the 30# injectors and get the c&l 76 mm calibrated for the 30s and run it. youll be fine. Worst case you wont be able to run as much timing advance because the computer will see less load and will increase timing. It just means you may have to keep timing at 10 degrees btc instead of bumping it up to say 12 .
