What trans? 373 are ok with a stick I would be looking at 411 with auto. or more for either one how tall of a tire are you gone to run? Adj. struts and shocks are some of the best thing I spent money on to make the car hook I use Strange stuff the price is right and they work great.

Who ever told you that uppers & lowers weren't worth it didn't know what they were talking about! Get them along with adjustable shocks. I used Strange 10 way adjustable. And on my car with slicks, my car was basement 1.5s. It has 1.4s in it.

Why limit yourself on the trans? The 500 still has a 10 spline input shaft, vs the 26 spline on the tko600. Slicks would put the power to the ground, and I agree with Blue on the control arms and strange shocks

You said 'monster', i was thinking you had something along the lines of 408, 427, 438 with some boost lol

Interesting. I built a similar setup back in 2003.

This is the suspension I used:

Along with 15x10 draglites and 26x10 M/T ET Drags.

It was a stock block 306 with a non-intercooled ProCharger P1SC and a T5 transmission. I ran a 1.39 60-foot on my 10.17 @ 132 pass.
