Default Vacuum leak

Has anyone else had any issues with the TrickFlow Track heat intake not sealing off completely?
I have a vacuum leak somewhere in the intake but have been unsuccessful finding it. I have had the upper intake off 5 times and there are no open ports, all hoses are good and sealing at the fittings. I used a strait edge on the surfaces where the upper and lower meet and they are true. There is no leak in the throttlebody area either. I can not see any cracks in the upper casting as well. I can hear a small whistle, especially when cold, but have not been able to pinpoint it. I have gone around all of the reachable gasket surfaces with an unlit propane torch, but the idle is unaffected. (Works the same as carb cleaner without the mess). There are no open ports in the lower intake either. I may try pulling it back off even though there are no signs of a leak at the heads.
I even tried using 2 upper plenum gaskets but it didn't change anything.
Intake and heads were bought new and installed using the torque sequence in the instructions. Gaskets are Felpro #1250.

Thanks for any insight into this annoying issue. I broke my foot and can not drive it for awhile so I have all winter to fix it.

If your not experiencing any drivability issues and your idle is steady and not hunting , then I would guess that the whistle your hearing is air flowing past one of the mating surfaces where there is a slight lip. When I did my gt40 intake on my 94 I had a slight whistle while cold , it was just air flowing over the gasket edge .

It is running lean, even when I crank up the fuel pressure to 60psi. It doesn't want to idle cold and had a lean miss at part throttle when driving. The plugs look brand new. Too clean.
It was fine before the head and intake swap. Same C&L MAF with a blue and brown sampling tube for my 24# injectors ( I tried both). Tried a different MAF sensor and it didn't help (electronic part).
I will just have to tear it down when my foot heals and I get out of this stupid boot.

Thanks for your input.

propane is useless for small leaks imo.

i use flammable brake cleaner only.

i attach the long nozzle and spray gently.

if the eng rpm goes up i found it.

Get a cigarette from your buddy, remove the hose to the brake booster, puff it blow smoke through it, youll find it.

If that dont work, throw a smoke bomb-mole chaser home depot, in the throttle body halfway and tape it shut with duck tape and rubberband. You find leaks you cant even hear, thank me later
