Where should timing pointer be pointing while at TDC?

Its efi, I didn't take any plug wires off. I did restab the dizzy, everything lined up immediately before I removed dizzy. Now it sits way to the right, to achieve the same timing. idk
Pushing down on the lifters will never tell you if a cam lobe is going flat.

of course your lifters hit the cam, if they did not ride on the cam your engine would not run.

i told you how to fix the dizzy timing if it needs to be without removing it.

i also told you how to set the initial without a timing lite.

Steel in the oil is typically a cam lobe and lifter.
