Default Fuel Pump Wiring Upgrade

I'm currently getting things together for my supercharger install and was wondering about the fuel pump wiring. I've read the modular mustangs re wire the pump with 10ga wire, does our foxbodys need such a upgrade? If so any write up anout it? Iv been searching for a hour without luck for the foxbody

Wink

I'm not going to lie, when it comes to forced induction DO IT.

One lean spike and your engine is toast.
The factory wires get hot enough, definitely upgrade and use your own relay.

Much easier to make a whole new system with your own relay and use the factory + on ignition, only to turn on your relay. Its under the driver seat.

a standard 30 amp at your local stereo store PER Fuel Pump is fine, they use em on remote starts, and the connectors for your wires are similiar to speaker spade connectors, just larger.

Its easier if your battery is relocated to the trunk, that way your weight distribution is better, and you have to run shorter lengths or wire, but optional

They will wire it for you like the pic for like $15, you just let me know the length, and they will write down what each one goes to.
I'm rebuilding a 5.4 modular due to detonation from using stock wiring as we speak, and man it sucks, those forged pistons are like $800 and the motor tear down sucks.
