I recently installed a 5.0 bored .030 over with a TFS1 cam and gt40 heads into a 1989 F-150 4x4. I know this is a mustang forum but the motor i am having issues with is out of a mustang. I converted the truck to MAF and redirected the firing order in the ECU while I replaced the ECU with an A9p. The power just isn't there that I was expecting. Also, the motor shakes badly when going 25-35 mph and it shifts into its low gear. I've replaced everything I can think of and read about. Any ideas on where my power loss is and also the shaking issue would be appreciated. Thanks

Well the shift thing is going to be an issue with your trans not the motor. Sounds like you've got the trans cable not adjusted right. I'm assuming you have an aod? If that's not adjusted properly your going to be shifting way sooner than necessary and prolly missing out on a good part of your power band. Now the shaking is another matter and I suspect it's linked to the firing order being played with.
