Car shuts off while driving
This is my first post, so i hope its in the right section. I just bought a 94 mustang gt a few weeks ago, and have already replaced the clutch. Now that ive started driving it, it cuts off after about 20-30 minutes. After it shuts off and i try to start it, it will turn over so i dont think its a battery problem. If i let it sit for about 15 minutes it will start and i can drive it again, only for it to shut off shortly after. Ive already replaced the ignition coil, and my friend has a new distributor im about to put in. I was just wondering if anyone has any ideas on what may be causing this though. Any help is appreciated.

It is possible that the TFI ( thick film ignition ) module is bad. When they get hot they cut out , loosing spark , or bucking, once it cools for a brief period it will be fine again until it gets hot again... This was more of a problem on the old fox bodies, and ford ranger pickups , because the TFI was mounted to the distributor on those .
In 94 ford moved the TFI on the mustang to the passanger side fender just below the air intake box. This solved most of the issue of heat , but they still go bad once in a while.
