the heads have to go,guides and studs have to be put in.also, the change would do nothing with the e7s

You're looking for pedestal mount roller rockers. Crane Cobra's are relatively cheap, but they will increase the ratio from 1.6 to 1.7, which depending on your cam can be a good thing, or a bad thing. I used a set of those for 10+ years with the factory pistons, factory cam, factory heads, and then later with TF TW heads and a 2031 Crane cam.

OK UPDATE, mystery cam is a compucam 2040. whereas I have read that its pretty much the same as a e303. can I use 1.7 rockers and not have clearance issues?
would I continue to use the pushrods that are in it now?

one other question is interference...If my motor where to jump time could my valves hit my pistons? is this a "non interference motor"

Keep in mind these engines use roller chains versus timing belts.

I have the crane cam 1.7 roller rockers and an e303 cam. If you think your cam is like an E cam then Id say yes .
