Exclamation tranny problems

I finally figured how to post.Just bought a 87 mustang gt and got a lot of questions.I will start with can my transmission make my motor run rough

No, that's usually motor related. Could you describe the "running rough" in more detail. Example: hot or cold motor, idling or under a load, misfire or vibration ?

the motor seems to bog down under a load as it warms up.sometime it will pop back through throttle body I am guessin the timiming could be off.it runs smooth at idle,could it be off 1 tooth and run smooth at an idle

Since you just go it, I would start with a tune up (Dist. Cap & Rotor, spark plugs, wires, and fuel filter etc.)

I have done tune up and replaced all sensors and computer because there was a 3.0 Taurus computer in it

Your right to verify timing, usually when you get a backfire through the intake, timing is off. And what's up with the Taurus computer in there lol.

thanks,i don't know why that comp was in there I have found a lot of stuff that previous owner didn't tell.i will check timing marks when I can,i just had neck surgery.Do you know much about aod tranny

Not to much, my car had built AOD when I bought it and I didn't mind it at all. It was very consistent at the track. But they don't like abuse if their not built for it. I'm much happier after I swapped in the T5. What would you like to know about the AOD, someone here will have an answer.
