Default She won't stay running.

I can start her with carb fluid, but she won't keep running.

1993 GT has sat for 5ish years, ran fine.

Have
Replaced fuel tank, pump, filter
distributor (cap, rotor, tfi module, dist)
Wires and plugs.

I was going to clean each injector manually but the previous owner used a rubberized form a gasket from a tube and I can't free the upper intake to do this, any ideas for this would be helpful as well.

I have a new fuel pressure regulator a few other items but can't replace them till I remove the upper intake..

Anyway, what iam I missing that might be the culprit?

Thanks in advance
Boca

Do you have fuel in the rails, and at what pressure? You may have to rent a pressure gauge to check if you don't already have one on the car.

One more thing I forgot to add, are the injectors getting a trigger signal? I'm not the smartest guy here, but I seem to remember there being a signal switch in the dizzy that tells the injectors to open. If that's not working, your injectors arent working. Do a search here for "injector pulse" or "no fuel", there is a thread that explains how to test that signal.

Definitely sounds fuel related. When you turn the key to on do you hear the pump kick on for about a second?

Have pressure at the rails
Assumed it might be the PIP sensor so replaced the dizzy
Pump runs, but sometimes does not shut off and makes air noises up by the injectors

I'm at a loss, going to clean the maf, but need to buy a tool

Check your wiring to the injectors and all the sensors. Sitting for that long a mouse could have chewed up some wiring.

Wires are fine, im going to change the relay today. Outside of that, i may order new injectors. I cant see all 8 going, but a mechanic friend says since i had rusty fuel in the old system it may well have happened.

Check to see if your getting a signal at the injectors, there's a step by step thread here somewhere on how to do that, may have to dig for it.
