i Have a 92 5.0 that i just threw a rebuilt world class t 5 into and all the gears work great except 5th. I got it to go into 5th once with ease but past that i don't want to force it in because i dont know why it wont shift smooth. If anyone has info on what it could be i would much appreciate it!

What kind of shifter are you using? You may need to adjust your shift stops and make sure they are locked down.

i believe its the stock shifter. Im new to the mustang group so im pretty sure its stock. and if the shift stops are wrong why did it glide in just the once?

If it is a stock shifter, it sounds like a internal problem with the tranny, notify rebuilder right away. Did it come with any warranty?
