Default Door removal 88 GT

I have a 88 GT, like to remove both doors for painting. Electric locks and windows. Anyone have experience with this? It doesn't look like I can pass the fittings through the small opening at the front of the door, and I really don’t want to cut any wires.

Easy way to do this or paint with doors on?

I've never removed my doors, but your saying after you remove the rubber grommet, the wiring and connectors still won't fit thru? The factory had to run them somehow.

Someone who has pulled the doors off will chime in soon.

I have passed one fitting at a time, take your time, they will fit, remove the inner fender liner for easy access to hinge bolts and wiring

plus you may have to lift or remove cruise control cover and vaccum chamber to reach wires.
