Default Window switch relocation

I'm new to the foxbody world. I recently bought a 1992 mustang lx. Needs a lot of work. Im redoing the whole interior. I was wondering if anyone has ever relocated the window switch. I want to move my window and door lock switch to the middle console and have a flat door panel. If anyone has done this, or knows the easiest way to do this, i need some help.

Fox cougars and tbirds had the switches located there. I've never seen it on a mustang but it should be as simple as pulling the wires from the doors and lengthening them to run to the console. Anything can be done if you have enough patience, time and money.

If you do that I highly suggest you get a wiring diagram. Those window and door locks are a pain to get right. When I did my alarm I thought I had the actuators wired correctly but I had them backwards.

Window switch is there, but the door locks aren't...

No need for a diagram (but it wouldn't hurt you to have one) just make your harness leads 1-to-1 to extend the controls (don't cut anything.. just make an extension harness from readily available terminals and wire) and put the switch where ever you like.
