have an 87 5.0 mustang, the car has been having issues of dying when put into reverse, sitting idle at lights or when not in the throttle. Runs great when drive with throttle wide open. Originally thought it might be a fuel pump issue but the fuel pump seems to be doing fine and the fuel system holds pressure. Anyone ideas on the cause to this issue or where to start looking?

What is the idle set at?
If it was converted to maf clean it.
