I would agree but I pulled the cover yesterday and when the keyway is met with the dimple on camgear my dizzy is pointing to #1 and its on compression, so maybe the dizzy has an electrical issue (pickup coil?) I dunno

well put your timing lite on every plug wire. if it does not flash on some they are not firing. if they are all firing and number 1 flashes at 10 degt btdc it must run it you spray carb cleaner in it.

since this happened after an electrical prob i can't help much if its electrical.

i thought you said the parts store checked you module and it was ok.

they did.....someone else mentioned a pick-up coil?

LADIES AND GENTLEMEN I HAVE AN ANNOUNCEMENT! I hammered on the salt and pepper connections, and she popped right off I set the timing and she is running like a scalded *** ape! I feel like such a DUM DUM! thank y'all for all of the help. Two Damn weeks over a damn recall! FAHQ U FORD

The black and white ten pin plugs behing plenum. they cause all kinds of problems, alot to do with the idle surge issues.

you said a recall, what is that about?

were your plugs original?

did they just need to be cleaned etc?

you can look it up here its pretty known that there was a recall on these for emission reasons
