Converting 73' 5.0 to efi???!
Hey guys, got a question here, looking for a little insight. Have a 73 5.0 out of a bronco, good running motor, want to cheaply convert to efi from late 80's early 90's 5.0. What issues will I run into? Would like to do a cam and heads as well. I'm not real familiar with the older 5.0's which is why I need insight. Would like to just use factory injectors, rails, PCM, harness, throttle body . Not sure bout heads. Anyone got some ideas? Thanks

It's for a friend, and it's the original motor. Not my choice, but he's pretty set on it. So converting cam, lifters is a necessity ... Got a few sets of good heads and a set of aluminum ones off neighbors 89. Will them heads bolt up, ?

yes cam with h.o firing order is needed to run sefi eec iv.....don't convert it and see how well it'll run......also depending what route you go, you'll need to set motor up properly, with proper push rod length...there is no slap it together with what ever parts and hope it'll run right
