Default Valve cover bolt torque specs?

Hey my valve covers have been leaking oil everywhere and I discovered that some of the bolts were completely loose! (used car) I've been told that I should pay attention to what I torque them down to but I don't know what that number would be! Thanks guys

Be sure to re-tighten them after a few miles. Any bolt that gets hot and cold you have to re torque after a few miles of driving it (be sure to do it once the car is TOTALLY cold).

Also, you could go ARP for the valve cover bolts and tighten them a LITTLE more once you have those on.
