1989 mustang brake issue

Exclamation 1989 mustang brake issue

I have a 1989 mustang GT .Did the brake convertion to disk in rear and now 5 bolt patern .Bought kit fron SSBC But since the convertion i cant get car to stop .Called manufacture did everything correct even brought to garage and the can't figure it out. NEW BACK BRAKES NEW FRONT CALLIPERS everything is new .Can anyone help .

Did you bleed them properly? How does your pedal feel?

Did you upgrade the master cylinder too? I just did a huge SN95 Cobra/5 lug upgrade too. If you go from drums to rear disc brakes you need to upgrade to a 1" master cylinder. The 93 Cobra master cylinder is the best overall one you can get and it will bolt right up. Go to maximum motorsports to get all the hardware you need to upgrade it. Also, you may have to get a adjustable proportioning valve.

Id say either wrong master cylinder (pedal will travel too far) or proportioning valve not right. If you have an adjustable one the base setting is 3 turns in from all the way out.

please define "can't get it to stop" meaning add more details ?? pedal feel?? how is the travel of the pedal?? bled properly?? if not pedal will feel spongy..........proper master cylinder......?? proportioning valve set right?? ect ect.....need more info on all the symptoms
