Default issues with AC move

hi guys,

I'm thinking about removing the AC and was wondering if you see any possible issues with that?
is the AC connected to the computer?
is it an easy move?
I know I'll have to change the belt for something shorter? I got that from ebay already.

so before doing that job I want to know
- how hard is it, I also have the AC delete kit from ford racing I think
- possible issues?
- the hoses, where do they go and can I just unplug them from the AC to the other end wherever the other end is?

thanks.

Personally I think your going to lower the value of the car by removing it.

I would never remove it, I don't understand why anyone would want to on a road car. Some would claim it robs HP but in reality it doesn't unless it is turned on.
Even with all the mods to my car it still has factory working AC although upgraded with a R134a kit.
Any foxbody car that still has all the ac equipment is worth more than one that has had it removed.

That all said, no the ac is not connected to the computer.

I got rid of my AC strictly to get weight off the front of the car but my car is a different story from most. Doesn't hurt a thing to remove it OP.

foxes aren't valued high unless all original and low mileage...so if yours doesn't fit both that criteria, it won't affect value tons
