Default what if my oil pan is leaking?

hi,
if the oil pan is leaking what do I need to fix it ? a gasket?
I read that you have to remove the motor to change the gasket? is it going to be a long job? how much time does it take to change the oil pan gasket?

You can do it from under the car but it's a giant pain in the ***!!! it's a much bigger job then it sounds. If you have limited tools and mechanical skills this is a job I'd pay someone to do! I did it on my car when I put a new oil pump in and by the time I was done 8 hours later I wished I had just let a mechanic do it. Even in my hanes manual it tells you it's a very difficult job. LOL
