so removed my ac and relocation the PS using the ac delete kit from ford racing.

I have a gatorback 84.5" belt but it's too long I think not sure I need a 82.7"

just wondering if anyone else has done the same and what size belt you use?

According to this, that's the right belt.

Are you bypassing the smog pump too? If so, it looks like it requires a 73".

I have my smog pump deleted, but the above diagram isn't how mine is run.

Instead of coming off the alternator and straight down to the crank, it comes off the alternator and goes to the water pump.

Everything still spins the right way, but maybe that's what's going on with yours.

That pink routing is a new one on me. My smog pump was deleted on my '89 too, and I ran it the same way as my '87 is right now.

my setup is the exact same as right side middle (the green one) and I have ran it the exact same way.
I got the gatorback 84.5 inches belt which is not good.
it's about an inch and a half to two inches too long I would say.

my tensioner is all the way at the bottom and I can almost by hand remove the belt
