Mustang Lovers,

My 95 GT is giving me fits. It seems I am having a electrical/fuel related issue. At this point I have replaced a ton of parts and had the car tuned up. I am getting major drag on throttle response and a very hesitant or shakey drive. It almost feels like a miss, but I think it is fuel related instead of a engine miss. I replaced Mass Airflow Sensor, TPS, Distributer, distributer cap, rotor and coil, to name a few. I am at the end of my rope as far as what I can do to figure it out. Does anyone have a good and trustworthy Mustang guy in Atlanta to figure this thing out for me? I am wasting time and $, and more importantly, I am not enjoying my ride.

Welcome to the forum. Sorry to hear about troubles with your Mustang. I'm not the most knowledgeable on the SN stuff. But I'd start by pulling codes to see if something is stored in the computer memory. Showing you which way to start.

Another vote here for pulling codes. Your car is telling you whats wrong, you just have to know how to listen to it. http://dfwmustangs.net/forums/showthread.php?t=7908 FYI just because the check engine light is not on doesn't mean the computer isn't recording something. Run both tests , KOEO and KOER .
It could be as simple as the egr valve being stuck open .
Funny you replaced all the most expencive stuff first and completely ignored the cheapest thing in the whole tune up process, the fuel filter. This should be included in a list of items to be changed during a tune up.

If you think it's a fuel issues the first thing I'd do is check fuel pressure at the fuel rail. Then go from there. Yes a clogged fuel filter will screw with your pressure.
