AOD/GT40 TRACK/DYNO results in, seem low. Tips on leaning out af ratio?

Lol, I try to bring the fellow mustangers n community together. I believe u on the better air, is there any way to really fix the af ratio without a dyno tune or my own tuning my software? I see the sct 4 bank chips, but how can I lean out mixture myself and then I can check it on the dyno. I read c&l meters run rich and clocking them can help out the ratio. Idk
Now, to be honest, even with my head work, intake, cam, exhaust, larger MAF and throttle, etc etc. They stock computer was spot on with my ratios from the start, it did a great job at all rpm's and load ranges. I did take some fuel out at idle, and tinkered hear and there with timing, but was surprised how it held my A/F ratios.
Just out of curiosity, have you pulled codes lately. Just to check for a bad sensor or switch. My car came with a bad ECT sensor and that can really screw with your A/F.

Here's what I did. I camped out Craiglist and picked up a used AEM wideband with the sensor for $100, then I picked up an older Anderson stage 2 pms with the updated stage 3 box for $250. Now I can safely add or subtract fuel and timing wherever I want, it turned out to be a great setup that works really well.
