Default 5.0 engine swap in 95 v6

My little brother and I have a 1995 v6 and have received a 5.0L engine out of a thunderbird. I have had experience with previous engine swaps in other vehicles but have not done a 5.0 before.

Please, any advice is appreciated.

The engine currently has an upgraded cam and headers, however it does not have a serpentine assembly.

Are there any good websites for reasonably priced parts?

Make sure to get the complete wiring harnesses & PCM! You'll also need a lot of little stuff like moor mounts. As far as good prices on stock replacement parts Rockauto.com has very good prices. The local parts store is usually a good source for cheap OEM stuff. Advanced auto, pep boys, etc. Good luck with the build

It should be a pretty basic engine swap if you have the harness and ECU. I'm not sure of the differences (if any.. or your engine year) but you may want to get a Mustang air inlet tract and MAF housing.

luckly these 5.0 swaps into the sn95s are pretty strait forward as long as you have time to spare and the old computer brain, wires, beer.
