If you're not getting any advance under throttle and the computer is saying spout connector, that's probably where I'd be looking.

Plug looks fine (new actually) to me. I wouldn't worry about the slide residue.

iv looked for faulty spout and connectors online but no luck. Any tips and pointers on how to check or look around the spout?

Not quite the same, but this is a guy repairing the issue on a Ranger with the same code and symptoms (if you watch the video from about the 1/2 point he describes the timing being exactly what your car is doing). He had a wiring failure. Unfortunately his Dog starts going berserk and its almost impossible to hear him talk, but you get the idea. He replaced the connector with a fuse (silly way to do it IMHO, but use what ya got I guess).

So... My short answer is to check your wiring over and see what shakes loose. If I absolutely had to, and simply connecting the two wire together works (I don't have any clue what is actually inside of the "spout"), I'd throw a scotch-loc between the two wires as a temp fix and see if it cures it. If it does, properly replace the wires (to me, that means solder and heat shrink) and connector and off you go.

ok.., well i had the icm (PIP) checked today when car started acting up while pip was warm since thats when the issue starts. i literally unplugged it outside autozone. 1st test pass.. 2nd test failed.. 3rd test failed. could this be my problem? Not sure what this means but the tester they used had about 6 or 7 lights that would either go green for pass or red for failed... it passed all green lights except 1.. the threshold light.? whatt?

I have no idea about the lights, but if the tester failed it I'd say its a bad part...

You could always take it to another store and have it tested again on a different machine.

Well i sapped out old one with new one right when the sputtering happened. Pulled over and did it on side of road. Started her up and she idled nice! Drove her and no more sputter, but 10 min later on freeway coasting at 2k rpm's it started but this time very very small stutter and only when i barely give it gas.., barely! Once i give it a little gas it stops sputtering..? OH man, looks like whenever i swapped parts it minimizes the problem but it doesnt go away. Im loading vid up right now, but its similar to the other one just lower rpm and smaller sputter.
