Default t5 stuck in 4th gear

i have a 84 thunderbird with a mildy built 302 (roughly 350horse) and its backed by a t5 5 speed. i was crusin down the road one day, 5th gear 60mph, when it popped out of gear. i put it back in 5th, let out on the clutch and nothing. (just like it was in neutral.) so i went down to forth and it was fine. tried to put it in 3rd, 2nd, 1st and the same thing (like its in neutral) theres no grinds, noises, nothing. any ideas?

First thing I would do is pull the shifter out and check if the pin is still in the offset lever. I cant imagine that pin coming out but its easiest thing to check. After that its pull the trans and open it up. At least with the T5 you can pull the top cover off and inspect the selector assembly very easy.
