i have an electric fan on my stang and the battery light keeps coming on.... i change the battery but now am wondering if i need a high output as far as alternator would an 80 amp do the trick???? or is 130amp the answer?

have the alt tested.....if batt light is on alt most likely is dead

Without proper punctuation, it's hard to understand.

An electric fan puts a pretty big load on your charging system when they first start up, but even a stock alt. should be able to handle it. Once the fans on, it draws a lot less power. But your saying your Alt. Light is on whenever the fan is on? And your battery and Alt. tested good?

go with a 3G (130) if you change alt. a bit more work but worth it.
I do have an electric fan as well and have no issues at all.
