upper control arms not lining up in 86 Mustang

I am putting a narrowed 8.8 rear axle assembly in my 86. The stock upper control arms are 1.5 - 2 inches off. I don't think they are RH / LH. Any help would be appreciated.

Are you sure the axle housing doesn't just need to be rotated into place? That's pretty common.

We tried rotating, didn't work.

After my post I think we have an answer: Double adjustable upper control arms. I ordered a pair.

Make sure you check your pinion angle to confirm!
