Car suffers from "previous owner syndrome"
The wiring to the battery and solenoid are where I need help.
Please confirm the the signal lead on the solenoid is red w/ a blue trace.

I need to know how many hot leads come off the battery. I have 2 plus the large cable to the solenoid. I have working lights, and one dash light when I turn the key to start, but nothing else. No other dash lights, no hum from the fuel pump, no operation of the convertible top motor. There must be another lead somewhere, but I need help.

What am I looking for?

( I downloaded and printed the wiring diagrams, but even on ledger paper, the labels are too fuzzy to read,)

A little additional information....
On the Battery + post there are three wires;
1) big wire to the solenoid
2) Circuit Breaker that goes to a Black wire with either a light blue or white tracer
3) A larger green wire

There are also 2 wires in half of a connector that connects to nothing;
1) 18 ga fusible link then a yellow wire
2) 20 ga fusible link to a black wire with a yellow tracer

Any chance of getting a picture of this on here? It would help clarify this a little.

Did the PO have a big system (amps & sub's) in there?
