Question
I bought this radiator/elec fan kit http://www.latemodelrestoration.com/...r-Fan-Assembly from latemodelrestoration.com. I have to hook up an ignition key switched wire for a 12v signal. I'm curious if other peeps have installed these types of set ups and what wire they used for the 12v signal? I know that I can use the 12v side of the solenoid but I'm open to other suggestions if any are recommended.

just pick a spot on the firewall that has an open hole and run it to the fuse box on any switch 12v fuse, I've done it plenty, napa sells spade terminals that can be shoved along side a fuse for ease

Does it just need a low current switch 12v to run a relay or a high current to power the fans? If it just a low current the closest thing to the radiator is the factory low coolant sensor. There is a red/yellow wire in that connector that is switch 12v. You can use that to power the coil side of a relay then hook the relay positive to the battery or starter relay on the fender apron.
